2. The lifting program is going GREAT! Brit is doing an awesome job training me and getting my muscles firing again. We are working every part of my upper body like crazy. We are also doing a ton of core work which is hopefully going to contribute to setting me up for huge throws this coming season.
3. This past wee I worked track camp at K-State and coached several different high school kids in the discus and shot. Being able to coach them really showed me my passion for coaching and helping athletes in a sport that has provided me with so much in life. I felt truly blessed with the knowledge that I had to share with those kids. I know that's what I am supposed to be doing in life and can't wait for that part of my life to come into play.
4. I got to go home for the weekend after camp and had a great quality time with my family for Father's Day. We went to the movies, grilled out, and just chilled. It was so nice to just relax and catch up with everyone. We also got to go to lunch with Uncle Tom and Aunt Patty and my grandparents when I got into town.
5. It's that time of the year again when I need to start packing up my stuff and begin the moving process again... so not looking forward to this part of summer at all!
6. Monday we have a banquet at Colbert Hills for our track program doing so well at K-State this year. Pretty exciting stuff!
