Big 12s

I have never walked away from a track meet satisfied until this past Friday afternoon.

I warmed up by doing three sets of three turns, then sat and waited for my name to be called 20 min later to throw. My first throw was a small 48 meters. I calmed myself down, prayed, visualized my throw and stepped into the ring. as I felt my right foot get down faster on each turn and then when I snapped the finish I knew something magical had just happened. As I watched the hammer fly, Fritz yell of excitement, and many peoples jaws drop I realized that I finally had something to show for everything I have been through. 54.96 meters....180' 4'' is a number that made me clap my hands, and not be able to sit down the rest of the meet. I passed the rest of my throws due to my body wanting to shut down. I watched in awe as I took 7th place in the hammer and finished with a PR. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

I also found out that I am ranked in the top 10 all time on KSU performance list in the hammer.

May God be the glory of this accomplishment and just add another great thing to my testimony
