12 Weeks Out!

Dr. Hinkin made my day yesterday. I had my 3 month follow up and couldn't have asked for anything more. All of my range of motion movements improved and my strength/stability test improved significantly since my last appointment.

The outcome of the appointment was ultimately that I can start doing some light throwing!!!! I couldn't quite hide my excitement nor could I get rid of the smile that had formed. Later in the evening my excitement wore off and I am finding that I'm terrified that I will get hurt again. I am so scared that I won't be as good as I used to be. I can't let this get in the way of my passion for the sport and the platform it allows me to share my faith. All the pain, all the tears, and all the hard-work is finally starting to pay off! I am so blessed to have the support systems that I do to help me get through yet another surgery/rehab.
