Inside look at the bible study I'm working through:
Trust: Believing completely and totally in someone or something.
Can you think of another example where either you or another athlete made a costly mistake?
I will never forget the time that I didn't listen to my coach my junior year of high school and 3 fouled in the shot put at our home meet invitational.
Who is someone you trust on your team? Why? Do you consider yourself trustworthy?
Someone I trust on my team is Jenna Yoder. She is someone who has worked her way from the bottom and has always been my right hand pal. She is always there if I need someone to talk to or need some encouragement. I do consider myself trustworthy and I think this is because I try to live my life based on all-out integrity.
~ All game changers have one thing in common: they have an uncanny ability to make the big ply- those clutch shots, diving catches, and spectacular saves that cause a major shirt in the direction of a contest.
Can you or someone you know relate to what Josh experienced?
I can definitely relate to Josh. I know many times I have been brought down by my temptations to get that rush on the playing field when I myself couldn't participate because of injury.
What are some decisions people make that lead them in wrong directions?
Addiction- allows for sin to overtake ones life
Independent- trying to do things on their own to much when so many people are their to help.
Have you placed your trust and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior?
I have placed my trust and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is the one thing in my life that is always there and remains constant no matter the season of life I'm in.
What extreme measures did God use to call out Saul in Acts 9:1-22?
God Blinded him and took his strength away. He later healed him and gave him life in Christ.
Has God every called you out for something, or is He calling you out now?
God has called me our numerous times to be bold in my faith and proclaim His name in all that I do.
What is the evidence of the life that trusts God?
The evidence is all in the lifestyle. It is so evident when you have a life that is trusting of God.
